How to do the test
Walk at least 1 mile (ideally 2–4) with a loaded pack. Enter your average pace per mile and the pack weight.
Leaderboards show pace, pack weight and distance side by side so you can compare like with like. Heavier packs and longer distances are harder. We don't adjust for that because no validated formula exists.
Not a diagnosis. Strong After 40 compares your numbers to published population norms for education and motivation only. It is not medical advice. Consult your doctor before starting a new exercise program or doing maximal-effort tests, especially if you have heart, joint, or other health conditions. Full disclaimer
